In May of 2005 we left Long Island heading towards Mount Rushmore. While we were in the neighborhood we figured that we should probably stop in to visit Yellowstone National Park. So we pointed our bikes west from the Rapid City, South Dakota area and continued on our way, holing up in Cody, Wy. for the night. The following morning we set off on the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway towards Yellowstone.
This photo of Kenny’s Speed Triple was taken on that cold morning as we made out ascent into the mountains. The feeling of being “away” was so strong on that trip. This photo always represents that to me and it remains one of my favorites to this day.

Fabulous photos!!!! I have just returned to a Triumph after nearly 40 years in the shape of a Street Triple after 8 years with a Blackbird and I’m loving it.
At 62, I’m new to blogging but if you have any interest, my blog is at http://www.geoffjames.blogspot.com. Scroll down a bit and there’s an evaluation of the Triple vs the Blackbird.
Great to find your website…
