Name that... thing?
Posted By FuzzyGalore 7:07:45 AM

We were driving along in the car the other night and stopped to look at an old abandoned house that sits tucked back in the woods of a road we ride down often. As we walked along the roadway, I saw this.. thing... tucked into the knothole of a tree. Any guesses on just what it might be?

It was a Walk in the Park
Posted By FuzzyGalore 12:58:56 PM

On Saturday the Fuzzmop family ventured in to NYC to bum around a bit. My daughter wanted to go to the Statue of Liberty. It seems that a bajillion other people all had the same plan. The line for the ferry was about a 4 hour wait. Crazy. So, we decided to skip that line and walk over to the South Street Seaport, where we ultimately hopped aboard the Shark boat to see the Statue.

One of the more interesting things that I'd noticed was that 3/4 of the people milling around Battery Park and the Seaport during this Memorial Day Weekend were non-English speakers whom I assume were visiting from other countries. I guess all the Americans were off visiting Europe.

The shark was fun :) Especially to a 7 year old. Getting soaked in your clothes ranks very high up on the funometer to a kid. Hearing my daughter squeal with delight as we got a face full of that oh-so-brown-and-tasty Hudson River water was worth the price of admission, hands down. CircleLine - Shark

If you look closely below.. i believe that is a crudmop!

I gotta say... I love this country.

Love is in the Air

I saw this scratched in to the door of a truckstop bathroom in Pennsylvania. Sometimes you can't question the source of wisdom. Just feel it, know it and live it.

As I walked along the roadway on 219 in West Virginia, I saw this hole in the road. If you just open your eyes, love is everywhere.

Marlinton, WV Train Depot
Posted By FuzzyGalore 10:11:18 PM

It was really sad to see the train depot in Marlinton had recently caught fire and burned. I remembered it from the last time we passed through about 2 years ago. Hopefully the town can gather enough support to rebuild this landmark.
